INDOT DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (DBE) SERVICES
INDOT is the sole certifying agency for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE/ACDBE) programs in the state of Indiana. This means that to participate as a DBE on contracts with funding through FHWA, FAA, or the FTA, a business must first obtain DBE/ACDBE certification.
INDOT: Doing Business with INDOT: What is the DBE/ ACDBE Program?

FHWA also conducts research and provides technical assistance to state and local agencies in an effort to improve safety, mobility, and livability, and to encourage innovation.
INDOT’s Supportive Services Program has two components, DBE Supportive Services and OJT Supportive Services. For information about OJT Supportive Services, please see our Contract Compliance page.
